The shop opens midday Tuesday to midday Thursday.
When ordering select either a collection point (Hatherleigh Community Centre) or delivery option (within a 1 mile radius of Hatherleigh Town Square - please see the map on our Contact Us page).
Your produce gets picked for collection or delivery on Friday mornings.

COMMUNITY IS AT OUR CORE

We are a small market garden on the edge of Hatherleigh, in rural West Devon.

We are set up as a CIC because we believe in the power of communities and local food systems. We want to share our knowledge of food growing alongside offering opportunities to access land, nature and food. Community involvement is important for many reasons, including connecting people to how their food is grown and building local networks of sharing and gift exchange to create more resilient communities.

Our focus is on delivering fresh, nutritious, organic produce that has been grown in local soil and weather conditions, in ways that are ecologically sound and create an even more beautiful environment.

Our shop is open 2 days each week, so you can buy direct from your local grower.

Events & Community

In Hatherleigh we have encountered the most warm, welcoming, community minded people we could have wished for. We continue to be amazed at how much goes on here and how open and inclusive are the people we meet. So now it's our turn to offer something of lasting value to Hatherleigh.

Seed saving

We are part of a growing movement of UK seed producers that are working to bring seeds back into the hands of the people. When we save our own seed we get to choose the characteristics and qualities we want and keep the varieties we love.
